911 Recorded Session

The Falher Library is participating in a pilot project expanding the use of videoconferencing
currently used in Southern Alberta Libraries (the RISE Network) to the North. I approached
JoAnn and Rachelle to see if
they would be willing to host a recorded session in Falher to
help deliver Emergency Services information
in both French and English as part of this pilot.
They agreed, and we decided to focus on Kids Calling 911. Falher was selected as the launch
site for a new program (Nolan and the Snowmobile Crash) designed to teach kids what they
to know about
calling 911 for a medical emergency.
